After completion of a Discovery Call, clients and their families booking for an initial occupational therapy assessment will have two 90 minute in home visits. (*Please note*: These 2 visits will be scheduled on different dates). Assessment #1 of 2: In-Home-Visit (First session)
Questionnaires and observation in functional day to day skills/routines, initial meeting and discussion of child and parent concerns for goal setting. Before end of session, the OT and family will schedule Assessment #2.

After the Assessment #1 and #2 have been completed, families can book therapy sessions ongoing with their occupational therapist. These sessions are offered in either 60 minutes or 90 minutes in length.
Therapy sessions will focus on the child/youth's top 3 goals and to create a plan for therapy intervention. These sessions may also include the following: Ongoing 1:1 and observation with the child, consultation and collaboration with the parents and sharing of information and resources, as well as possible discussion of any needed sensory, fine motor, or gross motor equipment depending on the goals identified in the plan.

Initial Assessment #2

In-Home-(Second Session), This second assessment visit will involve meeting with the child and their family to summarize the assessment from the first session and observation findings will be shared, further observation may occur with the child as well as any additional questionnaires. The visit will summarize discussion of parent/therapist goals and next steps for ongoing therapy Intervention visits.

*VIRTUAL* Occupational Therapy Session

Virtual occupational therapy sessions can only be booked after a family has completed Assessment #1 and Assessment #2. Some clients and their families who wish to book telehealth and/or a virtual occupational therapy session will be able to have this option (on an as needed basis) if they wish to have a virtual appointment instead of an in-person session.
